Frankly said, little to nobody expected Samsung to showcase a novel device such as the Galaxy Note Edge at its Unpacked event where the Galaxy Note 4 was expected to debut. Of course, the innovative niche device with the display that overlaps the edge won't perform as successfully on the market as its Galaxy Note 4 peer, but this doesn't mean that the device is less interesting.

The Back in September, Samsung released an infographic, which emphasized the key features of the device and showed us why Samsung is so proud of its Galaxy Note 4 phablet flagship. However, the novel and intriguing Galaxy Note Edge got treated to such a fancy presentation just now. Just as one might expect, Samsung puts the main focus on the novel curved display of the Edge and the potentially numerous interface interactions it paves the way for. Among the features that are stressed upon are the ability to quickly access apps, customize the overlapping portion of the Edge's display, as well as make use of handy Quick Tools.

Undoubtedly, these features and functionalities are not the sole selling points of the Note Edge - let's not forget that it's as power-laden as the Note 4, which means we get a Snapdragon 805 SoC (or an Exynos 5433 in certain variations of the device), hefty 3GB of Ram, a 5.6-inch Quad HD display, and a 16MP rear shooter with OIS. A powerhouse on the cutting edge, indeed.
