1.The bench-Warmers - Also known as Ghost Members. They sit in the chamber unnoticed for years. These type of lawmakers constitute about one-third of the house. They are always available for every sitting, never interested in sponsoring nor contributing to any bill what so ever. No sidetalks with other members in the house during a sitting, they watch the entire proceeding, thereafter, they shake hands with one or two colleagues, walks out of the chamber. They are usually rich & influential.

2.The trouble Makers - These are the drama kings. These lawmakers are always the chairman or members of a cabal within the legislative chamber. They usually tag themselves 'The transparency' or 'Integrity group'. You always see them at the forefront in a rowdy session. They champion motions for impeachment, suspension or sack of a member. Always hyperactive, ready to fight, throw unparliamentary words, and at the slightest provocation, they throw the 'honourable' attached to their names to the winds.
Hon. Dino Melaye, Hon. Chidi Lloyds comes to mind. lipsrsealed

3.The Abuja Lawmakers - These type of lawmakers visits their constituencies once in a year (and that's always when a federal might or the state Governor is visiting his constituency) they are always in Abuja or outside the country. They bring bills and motions that doesn't make sense at all, just so that a bill can be credited to them. These type of lawmakers are always interested in being a member or chairman of a juicy committee. They are media friendly, granting interviews left, right and centre. They love to be seen and recognised.

4.Distinguish Lawmakers - These Lawmakers are epitome of representation. They are intelligent, God-fearing, valuable lawmakers. They are always effective, they sponsor reasonable number of bills and contribute meaningfully during debates. These lawmakers usually stand firm for what is Just and beneficial to the masses. They are loved by the masses but are never allowed to return to the house, such lawmakers are usually rigged out during subsequent elections.

5.Mama(s) in the House - These are the few elected female legislators, they are usually 2 or 3 members in a particular dispensation. They champion bills on women & girls, but rarely contribute on other issues. One unique thing is.... They love to celebrate their birthday every year and are usually friends with the first lady.
Sen. Florence Ita Giwa comes to mind. cheesy

6.Unlawful Lawmakers - These are very controversial lawmakers. They look calm and responsible but very corrupt, behind closed doors, they are good at shady deals. They sometimes forward good bills and are mostly found in juicy committee. They are eventually linked to fraud, bribery, embezzlement or terrorism.

Polical tools - These are the lawmakers used by political parties to cause havoc in the house... (like PDP agents in Rivers state house of Assembly and the recent walk-out by the APC lawmakers over the $9.5m)

7) the business law maker ( rarely attend session always out of the country ) he just used his red passport to travel and expand his business. and to make sure he/she is re-elected to go to his constituencies occasionally to settle party chiefs, local imans or posters and area boys and few months before election to paint the local secondary school, mosque or church and if he is feeling generous he give 2-4 scholarship to student in the north is usually Sudan or Egypt, just because during campaign is sound better foreign scholarship that scholarship to UNILAG or BUK

cool retirement plan : this law maker hardly attend any session or travel for business, they always at home watching NTA or AIT news, they want to the office only if any friend/family need government jobs or contract. this type of lawmakers are usually for remote villages which due to religions/Tribal issues have almost 100% chance of winning election every time
