It's as straight-forward as you've been instructed. Maybe your device has issues. Are you sure it's a MTK device?
Also, try another IMEI.

Bros, maybe you should restore to factory and then do a CWM restore after that. And/Or, clear cache and Dalvlik cache in CWM mode. That will refresh things.

Like adjusting it in Mobile Uncle, MTK Droid tools, Gravity Box etc? No. I didn't do any such thing. It just started all of a sudden, like a week now.

That would mean losing all my apps. Chair. But, since I did a CWM backup yesterday, would my apps come back? I did titanium backup, tho., but that was saved to my phone, not memory card.

I think apps are stored in data.ext4.rar
So use advanced backup in cwm to restore only system. Ext4.rar and ur apps will be secure.. I'm not 100perxent sure sha


U can also use zipme from playstore to backup your apps as a flashable zip file that you can flash bCk after the restoration.
