God has his mode of operation. The mode is found in his word. We should always ask the question: “…but what says the scripture?” - Gal. 4.30, and that, in everything we do to ascertain what God thinks of every situation, if things would turn out for us according to the divine blueprint.

To be all that God wants you to be, you must follow after his way; and to do that successfully, you would have to drop every confidence in the flesh. – Phil. 3.3-9. For after doing all that can be done and accomplishing all that could be accomplished, you must still continue to put his trust in God.

There is nothing we can do against the truth, but for it – Jn. 8.31, 32, 36; 17.17; 1 Cor. 13.8. If we do not walk or conduct ourselves according to the truth of God’s word or believe and trust according to the words that proceed out of his mouth, it cannot be to us according to the truth. So watch it when you question the integrity of God’s word.

Alignment with God’s word causes his love nature to be shed abroad in our hearts; and when we continue with that nature, we triumph and prosper in all things for love does not fail.

Love cannot be cast down from a state of prosperity: , Rev 2:5;
Love cannot fall from a state of uprightness into a state of wickedness, i. e., to sin: 1 Cor 10:12; Rev 18:3;
Love cannot perish (to come to an end, disappear, cease) or lose its force;
It cannot to fail to participate or share in the provisions of Christ.
Every other thing can fail, but not love.

Our dependence should therefore be on God for direction: Jer. 8.6-7; 10.23 as man cannot conclude on everything by himself. The direction to follow is best indicated by God in every area of life. The strength for life journey also does not come from man but from God’s Spirit who helps in making a way at all times - Zech 4.6
