It was a normal day... Nothing exceptional to look forward to... Went about my normal thing... Could careless what happened next... Then, it struck me all of a sudden... My attention was drawn to it... Special interest I took on it... Why this connection... I just can't explain it... But I flowed with the tide... I expected business as usual... Yeh! Knew how it would end... I thought I did... I could bet I did... My senses couldn't be wrong... I've been down this road before... So I can say I'm experienced... Not one... Not two... Not three... Not even four... I be guru for this side na... So I could bet I knew how it would end... But then it didn't... Damn! It didn't end as I expected... I thought I wrote the script... But it didn't end that way... Hmm! JEITO... Are you a learner... Sure am not... But I just learned a lesson... I'm not a repository of knowledge... I didn't author this script... The hand of Divinity is on it... Just as we say in ICU... Every teacher must be ready to... Learn... Un-learn... And re-learn... And I did... And am doing... And I will continue to do... So help me God... Now a new chapter is opened... An interesting one... One worth paying attention on... And I don PAY ATTENTION... And I like what I'm seeing... So now it is onto the next one... I believe there's more to this... No! I'm sure there's more to this... And I dey wait... Seriously I dey wait... Patiently waiting... As my friend will say... I'll continue to sleep... Until God wakes me up... I mean... For God to disrupt my flow... In a world of my own... There must be more to it... He kws I like it here... Where I'm all by mysef... Where I'm a king... But then... He called to me... And said... My boy... I said sir.. It is time... Time to go... I asked go where sir... He said to a place called EARTH... Earth! Sounds strange to me... Where is it sir... I asked... Down there! He said... Hmm... I sighed... Obviously confused... Down there! I repeated... Yes down there... He said... Owkie... I thought I was made to be here... No my child... He said... Your assignment is down there... Down on Earth... Now am really confused... My assignment! Down there! Yes my child... Down there is where you are needed... "Needed" I thought to myself! Yes! Needed!! You see my child... There's something that the earth lacks... That I have deposited in you... Only you has it... And as long as you remain here... With me... The Earth will still be in lack... Now I understand, I said... So you see why you have to go? Yes Lord I do! So do you want to kip the Earth waiting? And with that... The discussion ended... It had just gone past 1am... On a chilled... Monday morning... The 17th... 17th day... Of the 10th month... In the year... Of our Lord... 17th! So glad you came...
