The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the re-appointment of Dr. Mrs C.U. Njoku as Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State for another four year term. Dr. Mrs C.U. Njoku was first appointed in 2010 for the first term as the 10th Rector of the Polytechnic which expired this year. Her re-appointment took effect from September 2014 and will last till the year 2018. The Rector holds a BB.ED (Hons.) degree in Vocation and Technical Education from Ahmadu Belllo University, Zaria (1983), Master in Vocational and Technical Education from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (1990), PhD in Vocation and Technical Education(Business option) from University of Nigeria Nsukka (1997) and holds several professional qualifications as well as international and national awards.
