Dbanj shared stage with some of most prominent people in Washington including President of the World Bank

This talk was given at a TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Nigeria’s first UN Youth Ambassador for Peace and popular singer, D’Banj shares his view of the role young people can play in transforming their societies. He shared his work using his music to raise awareness on agriculture in Africa and the role of youth. If Africa’s youths are the future of Africa, then Africa is the future of the world. He also sang his top single, Top of the World.

I tell u! watched the video over and over this morning.... really ginger my swagger this morn! chai... see the way he so full of confidence...see the white business personalities impressed, hailing and whistling and clapping, and giving standing ovation and even jumping! woooow I must say!

That's why they call him Nigerian African world boss!

When I tell people, the GOOD music deal was the world door opener for dbanj opening doors hitherto never imagined especially on the international front (not only in music at least Bill Gates now knows his name!).

Lesson: When u know ur value, worth and potential, don't listen to dorononsense...make the impossible possible. Music is a multi-billion dollar business
