pledged the support of
Labour Party to the new
governor of Ekiti State, Mr
Ayodele Fayose, for
sustainable good
governance and peace in
the state.
Bamidele, who represents
Ekiti Central Federal
Constituency 1, comprising
Ado Ekiti and Irepodun /
Ifelodun local governments
areas in the House of
Representatives, also
advised the governor to
offer good leadership and
pursue the tenets of equity
and justice, which Ekiti is in
dire need of at this time.
This was contained in a
congratulatory message
personally signed and sent
to journalists in Ado Ekiti,
Ekiti State capital, from
Cape Town, South Africa,
on Friday.
“Be assured that the
leadership of the Labour
Party (LP) and I will be
willing to collaborate with
your government in
implementing any of the
thoroughly researched
policy thrust contained in
our blueprint, a copy of
which is being made
available to you to adopt
or adapt as part of your
administration’s policies.

This is how best to be in opposition. Put the
government on their toes, offer constructive criticism and provide solutions that can be adapted to problems
for the overall good of the society. This is it. Opeyemi Bamidele has just put that in demonstration. Pulling
down and disparaging
others at all cost as being done by Asiwaju
propaganda congress is
nothing but evil. In Ekiti,
this will never be tolerated.
