This is ignorance&illitracy of the highest order. The strength of a currency or differential-strengths of two currencies is/are not determined by where the decimal-point is placed. But determind by what can be purchased by the value of both currencies using variables such as the GDP of the countries.
There was a time in 2007, soludu the then cbn governor intended to shift our decimal point by two spaces. Meaning 100naira wd be our 1naira. If that had happened, exchange rate btw dollar and naira wd have changed frm: 150naira/1dollar to 1.50naira/dollar. This wdnt have meant that our strength in naira had become closer to dollars.
