The Governor, according to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, berated the former administration over its failure to pay workers.

He said the situation had caused the workers untold hardship, adding that the new administration was working tenaciously to source for fund to pay the workers as soon as possible.

In another development, the State Publicity Secretary of Ekiti State Peoples Democratic Party, Kola Oluwawole, has resigned.

The statement said he did so to pursue his ambition to contest in the next February election into the State House of Assembly.
