*Jannah Lies Under the feet of your parents* You never see the tears that she's about to cry ... instead she turns her head to hide them. You never see the times she stills away to her secret closet to pray ... instead she invites you in to just talk. You never see how her shoulders are sagging from heavy burdens ... instead she gives you those shoulders to cry on. You never see the aches in her heart when her children rebel ... instead she gives them more patience and love. You never see the hand she pulls back when she's rejected ... instead she continues to lend a "helping" hand. You never see the aches in her hands from grasping and holding on when she feels like giving up ... instead she folds those same hands and prays even more. You never see the aches in her knees and forehead from praying for others ... instead she spends even more time on her knees. You never see the fears she has of being a "disappointment" ... instead she prays for more power and a sound mind. You never see any of these things and she doesn't want you to ... InshaAllah please take a moment to thank Allah SubhanhuWaTha'ala for bestowing us with such amazing kind parents :] Rabbighfir li wali- walidaya wa lil mu'minina yauma yaqumul hisab. Rabbir ham huma kama rabbayani shag-hirra ”O Lord, forgive me, my parents and Muslims in the Hereafter. O Lord, show mercy on them as they have nourished me when I was young.” "Oh Allah SubhanhuWaTha'ala, forgive me ,my parents, and Muslims in the Hereafter. Oh Allah SubhanhuWaTha'ala, show mercy on them as they have nourished me when I was young" Ameen thumma ameen 5 Likes 1 Share |

Salam alaykum ........ I guess I can share mine. When the world has been crushed and pounded! When life becomes like a dream Fading with it, whatever seemed so real Only then will mankind remember! When the deeds are brought forth The heavens knows not Awaken and shaken Only then will mankind remember! When all wealth brought forth can no longer buy success And all properties acquired are no longer respected When high-ranking position mean no more And the oppressive can no longer oppress Only then will mankind remember! So, let he with functioning ears, let him heed to the truth For to be foretold is to be forewarned. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

I swear by Allâh if a man is a companion of Jibril(Aleihe salâm).. the man is not free from hearsay it has been said about Allâh statements that are false. it was said when the Qur'an was being read sequentially it has been said about him that he has a son and a companion lies, falseness and deception attributed to him this is their saying about their lord their creator so how will it b if some hearsay are said about us? 3 Likes |

Salam alaykum Had two hours to myself so I thought I'd write. Wasn't going to post it initially but then... What makes you so afraid little one? That you see the truth yet hesitant to accept it. What makes you so afraid little one? That you see your responsibilities yet you try to avoid it. What makes you so afraid little one? That you have shut the doors and refused to open it? Is it that you desire to be strong and independent? Powerful and successful? Is it that you desire to be…….. an independent woman? If that is so then allow me ask, Are you more independent that than the powerful women before you? Are you stronger than those before you? The women whom Allah has praised and given the highest standards? So I ask you little one why oh why do you then shut the doors? It is not a character of the believer to shut down the truth. Neither is it a character of a believer to lose hope on goodness. So I ask you,why oh why little one have you then bolted the doors? Is it that you fear that you will be oppressed and rejected? Or that you fear your rights trampled upon? Your heart burnt? And your happiness snatched? Or is it that you fear you will be inadequate? Perhaps ,not good enough? Is it that you fear imperfection oh little one? Or the uncertainties that comes with having a family? Oh little one if those are your fears then why do you not put your trust in Allah and seek guidance in your decisions? Verily Your Lord never burdens a soul more than it can carry. Every benefit or harm has been recorded by the pen. Very little can you do to avoid the written Then why oh why do little one do you fear so much? What happened to the little one that once wanted a home? That desired an engagement at the age of nineteen The one who longed to wake her family up for salah and siyyam The one who looked forward to reciting al- Miwadhatayn on her children And hoped and desired for comfort in the arms of her own family? Is she gone, I hear you say? Disappeared into the wilderness, never to be found Oh dear, Oh dear, My little one Let her be found. Why is it when the matter has been facilitated and consent has been given, that you chose to run and hide? Shutting the doors and bolting the windows. Why is now that the matter is almost decided that you are nowhere to be seen? Do you not fear it to be the whisperings of shaytain? The one who plots from where you cannot see? Do you not fear the one who beautifies wrongdoing and makes it seem right? Oh ……..that is not the case I hear you say? That it only a recommendation but not an obligation. But does a believer not strive to become better? Chasing after what is good and refusing to give up on it? Well everyone is different and this is just who you are? Oh yes dear….. yes dear this is who you are. Nobody is asking that you change your person. Nobody is requesting that you be uncomfortable with who you are. All that is being requested is that you open your eyes. That you see the truth before you before it becomes too late. All that is requested is that you realize and accept, That a virtuous family is a blessing All that is requested, is you do not shut the door That you do not run and go in hiding after consent has been given. All that is requested is that you give life a shot. That you give Ahmed, Muhammed, Yousef, Khalid, Abdullah and Naseer a chance at life. And that you give Ashwaq, Rawan, Razan, Shaima, Maha, Funmilayo and Yejide a shot at life. All that is requested is that you give yourself a chance. A chance to be a wife and a companion. A mother and a teacher. Didn't proofread. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

^^^Wa alaykum salam snapscore. Fear is never part of the characteristics of a believer, we rely on Allah (SWT) in all our affairs... We all have different goals, a happy home, start a business, travel the world, be an active da'iy, learn Arabic, etc., fear make us stagnant and not to take action when necessary...But we must always give life a shot. Jazakillah khayran for sharing sis. It is indeed a nice poem. 1 Like |

My Gratitude…. by Sino I wouldn’t be here if not for your grace Sometimes I wonder if I do understand your favours at all And I often wonder if my gratitude has ever been enough And which of the favours of my Lord can I deny There are so many pathways people traverse People seeking answers to what troubles the heart The questions numerous, overwhelming… The soul, always troubled, always in doubt Only you guide whomsoever you will Even as I stand before you night and day I humbly plead, never let me go astray Even for a twinkle of an eye Not ever, and never till I die Indeed, your choice of test for each, different and unique Oh! Did you ever think paradise would come cheap? Verily, there are signs for those who seek… In the stars adorning the night sky Shimmering and shining, a sparkling beguile In the heavens like a canopy, have you ever seen a rift? And on earth, your dwellings and nourishment, and no place else And indeed, in yourselves… Your body… Your soul… Your consciousness… Oh! Did you think all these came to be for amusement?! Sometimes I wonder if my worship can ever be enough And I sometimes think my gratitude falls short For this path I have come to know Where the heart finds peace And the soul, full of tranquility. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

The Word of God. by Sino I’ve been blessed to see the beauty in the words of men I listen to words carefully constructed in rhythm and rhymes Words painting artistic masterpieces… With every listen, a new imagination springs… And with every listen, I feel the dopamine increase My brain synapses lit up in an amazing tapestry Oh! What a feeling I cannot deny I go on a high, in the clouds soaring in the sky This beauty I see and feel, cannot be denied I listened, I listened, and I listened some more… But the words of my lord has left me in awe Words that always leave me in tears, Even when the meanings were yet unknown Mesmerized by its complex simplicity A tapestry of an unimaginable design… And when recited with sonorous voices of man, I see the eloquence, the beauty, the perfection I see the truth, the good, I see purity At an instance, I see what my soul deserves The tranquility that comes with every verse There and then, I know nothing else could ever be compared To the words of Him, the Originator of words And in the remembrance of Allah does the soul find tranquility. Listen to the Qur’an today! 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Dear Ramadan, Last year you left me on a high, I started to go low the moment you said "Bye". Trust me, I tried, to bare your words of advice, "Live a life in this world like you did in Ramadan. And your life in the hereafter will be like Eid." But it's not the same without you. The Shayateen are not chained, so our feet are heavier at dawn. Our good deeds don't multiply the same, so our outstretched hands are gone, we couldn't even give out a sum. Dear Ramadan, How bad will it be if you wouldn't come, the Quran has gathered dust, our hearts have begun to rust. It has mingled with the elements of the world. Come Ramadan! Bare your sword. Our hearts and souls beckon. Come dear Ramadan, let our heedlessness be gone. Slitz... Allahumma Balligna Ramadan 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Fasting with Faith by Sino Hey! You fasting in peace Your iftar, with delight, Your sahur, in the early hours, with bliss You have just about 14 hours daylight! The rain pour, The cool breeze, Your spacious palour, Your drinks freeze... Oh! Allah must love you You even have more than you need Your provisions come, as at when due No worries, your claim, indeed! But have you for a second, Think about the plight of your brother? Far and near, they beckoned, We believe in Allah as you, and no other! O you fasting in fear, Your iftar with tears, Your sahur in despair, Your daylight you can hardly bear. On you, the bombs rain, Bringing along scathing heat, See the ruins of your once lively terrain... And your plight, to the world, discreet. Still your love for Allah blossom, Even in trials and tribulations, You stand firm, fasting still, and not worrisome Indeed, you are with faith! No delusions! And when all is said and done, When the hour comes and the scales weighed, And this ephemeral world long gone, May yours be Jannah, under HIS perpetual shade. Ameen Ya raba-l-'alamin! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Lone Wolf When the world isn't on your side and you feel all alone, As you are being swept away by life's fiery cyclone. You are sad, depressed and pained to the backbone, Like a man who just lost his beloved to a military drone. Sometimes, you find yourself in life's darkest zone, A lone wolf sighing in low guttural sob and moan. Crestfallen, forlorn with nobody to call your own, And in your own tears, you are about to drown. When you are lost in the jungles of life with no cicerone, Flee to your creator; He is the only one worthy of a padrone. Bow, prostrate and worship the Lord of the Throne, Reciting His blessed glorious book with a soothing tone. Cry your eyes out in prayer; Solah is a stepping stone, To reach the creator of the hidden and the known. He will remove your griefs and worries like a hone, And give you a cause to shine again like a gemstone. Lanrexlan 2 Likes |

The Wedding Night Chilly twilight breeze whooshing like that of an isle, With Nightingales playing euphonical tunes in style. One can see his face booming brightly with a smile, Cos he has been anticipating this moment all this while. A taintless elegant white flowing robe the bearer wore, With her radiance emanating luminously from the door. He's full of enthusiasm and simply can't for wait anymore, For a moment he has sacrificed more than enough for. In reality, exhaling one's last breath is like a wedding night, For a righteous slave who would be happy to meet his wright. Like a joyous groom to his newly-wedded bride in delight, Uniting to begin a new phase of life: A home filled with light. The Angel of death is indeed a celebrity everyone is going to meet, Your deeds would determine if you would a good or bad treat. So work righteousness before your heart finally skips a beat, And you say goodbye to this ephemeral world and its deceit. Lanrexlan 2 Likes |

Irony of Life Life has many times defied Newton's 3rd law of motion, An action doesn't basically yield equal reaction. You treat a man like a king giving him all the attention, While you are only a pawn to reach his destination. Some will love you not for the man whom you are, But only as a potion just to heal their broken scar. Sooner or later, they are gone like a shooting star, And you become a stranger whom they watch from afar. O my friend! Do not let that in anyway deter you, Let your mercy fall ceaselessly like the morning dew. Giving its refreshing bath and aurora not only to a few, Even to those who never in an inch deserve it too. Radiate your love like the rays of the sunlight, Whose warmth is felt by everyone within its sight. Know that life is a journey; not a duel nor a fight, Give many people a ride before your soul finally takes flight. Lanrexlan 1 Like |
