The Presidency has responded to Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s tirade against the government at Saturday’s APC Mega Rally. Amaechi had, at the rally, launched a diatribe in which he berated the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), the president, and the PDP.

Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, in the statement, on behalf of President Jonathan, warned Amaechi on limits of political rascality.

Only in Nigeria that a Presidency that is always afraid to answer what they've done with trillions of Naira will come and start harassing someone else for billions.

We are yet to get any reasonable explanation for the shoddy response to corruption, the billions of dollars unaccounted for and the massive hike in fuel subsidy payments yet.

I don't condone theft, though. If the FG has compelling proof, let the EFCC jump in.
