The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has urged the speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, to leave office after Mr. Tambuwal officially announced his defection from the party to All Progressives Congress, APC, Tuesday. Mr. Tambuwal decamped after months of speculation. He had previously denied he was moving to the APC despite openly associating with the party. The clearest indication he was joining the opposition party came more than a week ago when he attended a meeting of the APC in Sokoto State. Do you think he should resign his position as Speaker?
