1999 540i e39 Sport Wagon 540it - $500 (N82,500)

Needs an engine rebuild though according to the owner. BUT I've purchased cars that needed an engine rebuild and it turns out to be just a started stuck on the flywheel

So who wants to go in on me to start a wrecking yard in Nigeria?

Oh the cars I show are in the US, specifically in Southern California.

My intent with this threads is to start a conversation and try to introduce Nairalanders to different possibilities in automotive hobby.

1) I know it can be done but you just have to find a good shop. In my opinion it should be done in Nigeria as labor is cheap in Nigeria. The key is finding a trusted shop that is technically abel to carry out the rebuild.

2) I have no idea at the moment.

3) That is all the pics that I have, it's not my car. Usually when people are selling cars this cheap (for this car $500 is seriously cheap) they don't bother too much with pics and details and know that a serious buyer will just call for the address and show up with a trailer. The car is about 100 miles from me so it's not readily available. I may buy it personally if it's still available by Saturday morning, the earliest I can make the trip.
