anywayz, i've finally made a choice..i'd go with agofure motors..they hv parks at ojota n ipaja...its 3400. they'd drop me at kaima bus stop then i'd take a bike like 50 or 100 to camp

Yes, since its strictly for corpers, I'll b able 2 bond wit sm ppl b4 getn 2 camp. Then incase thrs traffic, I won't b scared of being in a strange place alone @ night, cos d bus wld take us straight to camp.

No. the camp is 30 minutes drive away from the capital. Its in kolokuma/opokuma LGA.

Those coming from lagos, pls go to agofure or God is good motor park. They will bring you directly to kaiama, from there you get a bike for 50naira. Those coming from ibadan, ogun, osun, etc. If there are no direct bus to bayelsa from these areas, simply get a vehicle to benin and from there you can get buses going to bayelsa. You can get agofure, God is Good motors, bob izua, etc. Those coming from the east, yours is direct. No cause for alarm.
Make sure you get posted to yenagoa after camp. Life outside yenagoa is terrible. In most places you can hardly get gsm ntwk apart from the LGA headquarters and nearby big towns. Get involved in any activity on camp, like OBS, Sport, Cultural group etc. You will definitely be posted to yenagoa. I thank God I served in bayelsa and I got a job there as well.
Please love bayelsa, praise the state. The state is very peaceful and accommodating. Nobody should deceive you. Bayelsa is not a war zone. The two major hurdles are inflation and water. Your allawee go finish o

pls dnt buy white shorts with back pockets. All in all, have fun n enjoy ya stay in camp

Pls d camp is not in d state capital. It is in kaiama, I hour or there about from yenagoA. So, no matter where u r coming from, endeavour to drum into d drivers ear, dt u ll stop in kaiama n nt yenagoa. He ll know wia he ll drop u.

Go to control roundabout, from there you will see a direct bus going to bayelsa. Tell the driver to drop you at mbiama junction before yenagoa entrance(make sure remind the driver). From there you will get buses going to kaiama or delta. Tell the driver to drop you at kaiama. Pls keep reminding him.

It is my earnest prayer that you all be posted to yenagoa. Life across water as a corper is not too encouraging. Banks are only in yenagoa. So have to pay more and via boat to access atm and all dat.
To get posted to yenagoa, make sure you participate in all activities in camp, be friendly with man o wars, soldiers and camp officials, join male or female football team, volleyball team, join any sport you are good at, go to camp very very to join OBS crew you will go to yenagoa sharp sharp, join band and matching nysc team, be your platoon leader or assistant etc. Hope to see you guys in yenagoa. Just be part of any group even if you are not good at them. Congratulations otondos.

, I am serving in bayelsa yenagoa, batch a and I was in obs and also a member of d editorial executive, bayelsa is fun to be honest, apart from the high standard of living, it is a relatively safe place with low level of robbery and vices, the most popular food here is boli and eBa, fufu and native, if u are coming from logos, say bye bye to amala and ewa agoyin as they are non existent in this state, light is constant, people are friendly
