1. Unlimited Income Potential
Most people who work for a company get paid a salary. They depend on getting an annual increase to earn more money. When you start a home-based business, you control your income. You can choose how much you want to work. That can create a lot of flexibility. Some business models such as ours, allow you to leverage other people’s efforts to build your business.

2. Personal Freedom
As a home-based business owner, you control your schedule. You determine when you want to work and for how long.
It’s nice to be your own boss. Take control of your time and build something you can be proud of. Not only that, when you tap into passion of selling, you will release your creativity and that can lead to greater fulfillment in your life.

3. Time
On average it takes people 4 hours to commute to and fro work in Lagos. Losing your commute gives you a more productive workday and more time to relax. If you calculate that commuting each way five days a week equates to two and a half 8 hours working days, you can claw back those missed hours by working from home and using the time for things more productive.

4. Low Start-Up Costs and Overheads
Starting a business can be capital intensive. By working from home not only will you save money on renting office space, but also on the cost of letting and maintaining it, business rates, utilities, cleaners, travel expenses, even buying food. By sustaining low overheads you can keep your cash flow in check and broaden your profit margin.

5. Family
Your partner, siblings, and/or parents can help with the running of your business if you operate from home. Not only will family members often work for free, but you'll have the added benefit of spending more time with them. This is especially important for parents of school-age children: you can see them off to school and on most days be home when they return.

6. Less Stress
The low cost of setting up a home business means the risks -and stress - associated with it are reduced. With minimal time lost to travelling, you'll find it easier to cope with any family troubles as well. It's a little less stressful to juggle the demands of work and family when you know you can stay home to care for a sick child and generally set your own schedule.

7. Break Even Quickly
Keeping overheads low means a more profitable business, and you'll be breaking-even quickly. Whether you choose to invest the extra cash back into your company, or simply give yourself a larger pay cheque, you'll quickly appreciate the benefits of a home-based enterprise. With programmes like ComeCarry.com you can get back your initial outlay almost immediately.

8. Keep the Money Your Make
It’s a simple principle: the harder you work, the more money you can make. Your earning potential is directly proportional to your performance, so you don’t have to wait for a raise or a promotion. You work harder, and you produce more. You'll also save money on gas and food. Preparing lunch at home is more cost efficient and offers a nice break in your workday.

9. Opportunities for Growth
A business is basically about buying and selling, whether it’s a commodity or service. Being your own boss gives you the chance to wear a lot of hats: sales director, marketing professional, strategist, business development manager, and more. This gives you insight into and experience with all the aspects of running a business, which, in turn, makes you even more marketable.

10. Keep Your Job
Starting a business will feel less intimidating if you already have a steady income, and working from home means you're able to work around your existing hours for as long as possible. But remember that in order to make a success of your company, it will need full time attention. Eventually you will have to take a leap of faith.

One has to have a basic education in entrepreneurship to start his or her on business. The question I want to ask is, why was entrepreneurship hard in late 1990's? This was the time that most people in business I remember frankly. People were becoming millionaires, billionaires even over night and just about anything you could sell on the internet, things like furniture, gloceries e.t.c they could be sold on the internet. People had a company and they took it public and sold it for a lot of money, a lot of money meant hundreds of millions of dollars. There are really 8 basic reasons why you should become an entrepreneur or start your own business. You can pm me to give you free tips. grin
