Coalition of youth and student groups, under the auspices of Progressive Youths and Students for
Okorocha, from the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has declared it's support for the presidential aspiration of Governor Rochas Okorocha and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2015 elections.

Representatives of over 20 interest groups and student associations, who stormed Keffi yesterday as part of their ongoing campaign across the region aimed at mobilizing support for Governor Okorocha, expressed confidence that he is the most broadly accepted choice for the office of the president whom they said is widely seen as the aggregated dream
of the majority of the electorates in Nigeria.

The national coordinator of the coalition, Comarade Kasim M Kasim, who eulogised the sterling qualities of Governor Okorocha said his wide contact and ability to connect with the youths and the elderly makes him as a game changer who has the capacity to restore peace through reconciliation and promote the rapid development of the nation.

He said the endorsement became necessary because the youths in Nigeria want to make a bold political
statement that the days when youths only wait to be told what to do in deciding their fate for the future is
over. He added further that youths must be seen to be active partners in the democratic process whose
choices for collective prosperity is a defining factor in shaping governance.
