Are we to select hostels of our choices or it's randomly allocated?

Madam, C6 parallel in your five(5) compulsory subjects is all you need! and 200+ as your jamb score.
Then you find your way through post-ume. No aggregate whatsoever, just post-ume mark is used as cut-off.

Halls are allocated ramdomly.

You only have the option of picking your room. That's where fastest fingers come in, although every fresher will get a room.

am using neco and i didnt write economics, but i have 7 credits in maths english crk govt history literature and agric, am i good to go without economics for this course education and religious studies at UI? Cc zezeny

You're good to go, Economics is not a prerequisite for Religious studies.. All you need is English, a pass in Mathematics, CRS/IRS, Lit-in-eng, History/Government and Yoruba/igbo/Hausa.
Having 5credits from any of these listed subjects is enough to get you in which you had already.
