theunusualmoon: I don't want to derail this thread in a bid to prove to you that GOD exits. Please create a new thread where we can talk about it and I"ll join you there.........If GOD did not stop the persecution and death of the desciples that preached the gospel all around the world, why should he stop you from losing your life on the way to the redeemed camp? 1 Like |

@theunusualmoon This should be interesting....Well probably not. People have been trying to prove God exists/doesn't exist for as long as I can remember. No one has succeeded on either count...let's see what you've got. |
Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by davdandam(m): 4:56am On Nov 09, 2014 |
Obviously from your profile@ op you are a Muslim, are you tryna question the existence of God or the existence of the Christian God? Lemme get that straight first. |

As always let's start from how man came to be.I have read many athiests say here that man was as a result of evolution.......In order to be more direct I would like to say that man was created by something that wanted man to exist. If you doubt this please state why and also state your opinion of how man came to be. |

texanomaly:............................ Ok.That's an intelligent way of looking at it.I just hope I leave both parties with something to think about. |

theunusualmoon: A preliminary question for you, do you think man concretely knows his precise origins with a sufficient deal of certainty? |

Here we go... |
Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by theunusualmoon(m): 12:15pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
Kay17:........................................ A sufficient deal of certainty? Yes. But then we have to understand that the word "man" in your comment above is a bit vague because as you transcend different borders of the world you notice that there are different beliefs. |

^^ Is mankind ok? |
Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by theunusualmoon(m): 1:27pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
Kay17:......................... I cannot speak for mankind but I can speak for myself. |
Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by Nobody: 1:43pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
theunusualmoon:That is not what he meant. He is asking if it is okay to use Mankind since you say 'man' is a bit vague. |

Kay17:......................... If man was not created how did man come to be? |
Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by urheme: 5:15pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
theunusualmoon: Is like you have no stand, you are just crafty That something that wanted man to exist, what do you call it? I call it God, a God that is unreligious. theunusualmoon: Man was created by God but how and when He did it , i don't know but He created millions of them in different race, colour and height. |
Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by Kay17: 5:29pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
theunusualmoon: I was expecting an elaborate argument with well structured layers upon layers, since your intention was to settle a centuries old debate. Note, that you earlier claimed to know man's precise origins with sufficient certainty, so I expected a lot. So in very few words, I'm disappointed. |
Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by theunusualmoon(m): 5:39pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
Kay17:.......................... Disappointed? Huh! You are not going to get me tied up like you do most believers. You either ask me why I believe GOD exists or you tell me why you think GOD doesn't exist. That's exactly why this thread was created. You don't expect me to just start saying things that are off point.Tell me exactly what you find puzzling about GOD or his existence/man and his origin and let's see what we'll come up with together. |

Re: Theunusualmoon And The Christian God by Kay17: 11:28pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
The origins of man lie in the past, and as a result the truth about our past can only be derived from historical sciences such as archaeology. We do not have the privilege of written records nor oral witnesses, hence we must resort only to modern science. Given that historical sciences are our only source into the past, we have no knowledge whatsoever that man was a 'piece of creation'. Now to theunusualman. 1 Like |

Kay17:........................ We had no knowledge of flying but somehow we built and still build planes........ We had no knowledge of medicine but somehow we now have X-ray machines...... There are so many things we had no knowledge of but uniquely we had faith in ourselves and we started thinking of what we felt could make the earth better and easier for us.First we thought of them(planes, submarines, sky scrapers) and we built them At least the GUYS that built the plane or the submarine didnt have any archaeological facts to turn to.did they? And besides a plane can't tell you the name of its builder. All it has are features that point out when, how and which company built it...... If the first plane could talk,it'll probably tell you it came about by evolution or there's no historical/archaeological fact about its history, therefore it just appeared suddenly on earth and not on mercury where it would be scorched by the sun 24/7. And even when you lay your hands on the plane's manual and show it to it.......the plane will tell you that manual was written by a human therefore its pure fiction. 1 Like |

@kay17 "A preliminary question for you, do you think man concretely knows his precise origins with a sufficient deal of certainty?" .................... I would take the word "man" in there to mean myself. I concretely know my precise origin and with all certainty I was made by a being more superior than I am.I know this because I relate with him and I feel his presence. 1 Like |

Atheist think they know everything, they are just full of doubts and not skeptical, they have no answers to any simple thing but more question, How can an atheist find solution to anything at all if all they do is to remain and die in doubt What inspiration can one even get from an atheist, they are not sure of anything, infact doing business with an atheist is a serious risk. Doubts!! Doubts!! Doubts!! No answers 1 Like |

theunusualmoon: Obviously everyone knows origins suggest a source, so you are not helpful enough with the details by mention "I originated from the same source"! but the obvious question is what is your source?! |
