The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) local
government congresses held on Saturday in Ogun
State has been described as successful and peaceful.
Speaking with Sunday Tribune in Abeokuta after the
exercise was the chairman of the five-man local
government electoral committee, Mr Christian
Nnaka, who explained that the exercise recorded a
huge success.
The former governor of the state, Chief Gbenga
Daniel, the chairman Organisation and Mobilisation,
Prince Buruji Kashamu, and former deputy governor
of the state, Alhaji Rafiu Ogunleye, were elected as
national delegates of the party.
