The Lord's Chosen And Their Lemon Apron: Isn't It Idolatry? by dein77(m): 4:59pm On Nov 17, 2014 |
Good people, good evening, A few years ago, when my attention was first drawn to this their Lemon Apron, I thought it was deployed as an evangelism tool. I had thought it was mainly to attract people to their crusades. But now, members wear their aprons almost everywhere and every time. Someone recently told me they wear them to interviews, offices, wear them while asleep, etc. I don't know how true it is. There's a very tiny line between serving God and idolatry. We should endeavour to draw all attention to Jesus Christ, instead of to our churches and bishops. Members in the house should enlighten us. Shalom! 1 Like |

Well until you have confirmed the story by seeing a member wearing the apron in public , apart frm church service, den this is considered null.... |

i am a chosen the apron is only use as a tool to advertise the advance of an up coming mega crusade of the church, people wear those aprons on the days of the crusade and the g.o while saying prayers blesses them along with handkerchief and all items present as tools of miracle. Alot of testimonies of miracles have been told of people actually get miraculous healing from applying the aprons, and so those who have the aprons just become fond of putting them on even on normal days. It is not an item of worship. |

clean2: Thanks for taking the time to enlighten us, especially me. Some others may have resorted to abuse and insults! We are clearly being admonished to preach the Word to every creatures, and Christ will definitely be happy and fulfilled seeing we are obeying His mandate. Keep the good works. This thread was created due to some unfounded stories surrounding the use of the Lemon Apron. I also believe it the colour was chosen due to its catchy nature. Once again, thanks for the Christlike reply. |

clean2: I have been to your worship centre at Ijesha on the persuasion of a close personal friend. The person does not have a good appeal. There was also a confession by a lady about the church. I think it is on youtube. |

Boss13: Leave Sis Linda and her confession alone. Any message that creates confusion in the Church can NEVER come from God. |

dein77:She might be right though because since her message to all the churches, churches like living faith most times lay emphasis on holiness these days. |

vodacom: Dear, the Word of God is there to guide us. We do not need any visions to authenticate our salvation and worship. |

vooks: Honourable vooks, good morning. I may not have framed my question any better than it already is. Members of the Church in question conspicuously wear lemon coloured aprons all around. I do not have photos now. |

vooks: One member has already enlightened us yesterday. She posited the aprons are used as evangelistic tools. Nothing more, she insisted. |
