Well, my tips for your friend are: 1. She should try to keep d hair down there as low as possible b4 every shave. Bushy hair in DT area causes sweat which smells, and then mixes with urine if she doesn't clean after peeing. (U can imagine this combo when d person takes off her pant) 2. Each time she pees (urinate), tell her to wipe her kitty clean with tissue paper to remove any residue of urine, b4 wearing bck her underwear. Most times, it is this little drops of pee frm each toilet visit that accumulates on the underwear and causes smell. 3. An alternative to 2 is for her to use party-liners. They really help. The goal is to replace your party-liners after each pee (u get?) 4. She should just wash that place everyday with feminine wash. It would help. 1 Like |

she should have gone to get medic help when she first noticed this... never too late to see a doc or nurse....apparently the best she can do for herself...i really don't wanna start guessing what the course of this could or might be.. @op take your friend to the hospital and sort her out..... i remember when i was about 15, i started seeing my period and obviously my ovulation but then i was only conversant with period. so i usually notice a brownish or white-brownish stain in my pant, i told my best friend and i decided to go see a doctor cos i thought it was toilet infection since i was at the uni then. here is my point: I TOOK SOME MONEY FROM MY MUM'S PURSE, ALONG WITH MY BEST GIRLFRIEND, WE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND I SECURED A CARD FOR BOTH OF US ONLY FOR THE DOCTOR TO TELL US IT WAS OVULATION After a long laugh but he did put us through and commended our effort and concern. so bullet point: @OP TAKE YOUR FRIEND AND GO SEE A DOC ASAP IF YOU TRULY CARE .. you should learn to connect to the hospital at any point neccessary. 1 Like |

First of all, op, if she is a babe that is séxually active, she needs to see a doctor urgently. Vajayjay odor is not something to be managed or overlooked. Infact any other smell from it apart from the usual feminine smell is an indicator of an ongoing pathology, which could be an infection, or even something as serious as a cancer. My honest advice, as an oncologist who sees these things everyday of my practice, is for you to sympathize with this friend of yours and explain the need for her to see a doctor urgently on this matter. Offer to go with her because she will need support. It's not easy having an intimate problem. Let her undergo basic swab tests that should include a high vàginal swab, an endocervical swab. These swabs will undergo microscopy, culture and sensitivity for any possible incriminating bacteria, fungus or other parasite. If séxually active, she needs to do blood tests/serology to rule out syphilis, gonorrhea, HIV or other séxually transmitted diseases. If séxually active, she should undergo what is called a Pap smear of her cervix to ensure she doesn't have any abnormal cells in her cervix. Abnormal cells if detected will necessitate the need for a biopsy to be sure she does not have a cancer of her cervix. Many a time too, this can be the cause of long standing Vajayjay odor. So in essence, dear op, show her that you care indeed, not by buying her a perfume which will only temporarily mask the odor and ooze from her most prized part of her body, but take it all the way to the medics in the quest for a cure, so she can have her self confidence and esteem once again She will forever remember you as a true friend for this. It is normal and healthy for you to have some womanly odor. However, strong womanly odor can be the result of douching, excessive washing, wearing clothes that are too tight and certain chemicals in your soaps, among other things. This strong odor can be embarrassing. If you personally feel that the smell is too strong, here are some tips on how to eliminate womanly odor. 1- Identify any infections. If you want to stop womanly ordor in its tracks, you need to figure out what's causing it first. The most common source of womanly odor is an infection. This can range from yeast infections, to bacterial infections, to STDs/ STIs. The best practice to make sure that this is not the case is to go to the doctor and have them check you out. That said, there are a few different ways you can gauge if this is your problem: If you have a lot of chunky white discharge, you probably have a yeast infection. Medicine for this can be found easily at any drugstore and many grocery stores. You might contract a bacteria infection if you don't practice proper toilet etiquette. Do you wipe front to back or back to front? Wiping back to front introduces bacteria into your womanliness and can cause infections. If you think you might have contracted an STD/STI, just go to the doctor to get tested. This is the kind of thing you need to know for sure, for your own safety and that of those around you. 2- Check for imbalances. The womanliness is kind of like a rich ecosystem. Everything has to exist in perfect balance, and that balance can be really easily upset.
