One thing I keep telling people is if you are employed by a bank and you are asked to raise 5million naira every month ,and if you are able to do it . Then why not do the same thing for urself? The same way you market the bank to people ,why don't u market your ideas to people and raise money for your own business? If I can make it work for others then I can make it work for myself . But people just like the idea of job security and salary earning. 7 Likes |

Obviously, moral standards have fallen too low in Nigeria. Otherwise, how can a decision that send bankers into imoral activities be termed just as ''business decision'' instead of a crime?. If our banks business decisions are making our ladies turn to prostitutes, isn't that a crime?. This's the type of thing, if discovered in the banking system of a country like Japan or China, the bank C.E.O may commit suicide out of shame or at least will honourably resign. And that's why their society move forward. But in Nigeria nobody takes responsibility, and that's why our country is the way it is. CBN, you have every right to stop this nonsense cause your duty is to regulate Nigerian banks. This's not just a bad business decision, it's a crime!. 5 Likes |

First Bank too. Some of their cashiers look like they are still nursing at their mother's bosom. The marketers are tired and stressed. 3 Likes |

Adesiji77: CBN too should stop placing and enforcing unrealitic policies and regulations on banks. CBN is hampering the profitability of banks hence only a fraction of what can be made is made. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bank marketers are corporate oloshos. Marrying a female bank marketer is as good as marrying a nollywood actress.d bank manager wants to get down wt her, 8 out of every 10 male major depositor wants to lay her. Most of dem receive calls mainly from these male toasters/depositors like they are customer care reps of telcos. Imagine d bank telling a marketer to get #10million monthly or loose her job. 4 Likes |

God pls let them axed this before access bank serve me my employment letter. Also NLC chairman should CC this to other companies setting unrealistic targets to their marketers, sales reps e.t.c, because this is not happening in banks alone. |

Adesiji77: Why didnt he stop it when he was DMD and then MD at Zenith Bank?? Na now wey im wake up after him and his fellow CEOs have used our sisters and daughters to make money for them by any means necessary... mstchewwww!!! Anyway, let us see the measures CBN will take to curb it... The easiest way is to make sure that banks stop focusing on the growing of depositors funds as the only function of a bank... |
