When I was single, I was bleeping so many female bankers in the name of I will open account with you. How will some men now enjoy those Zenith/GTbank fine babes? |

onatisi: Bros better believe it. My target was 150m for current accounts, 130m for savings account and 150m for fixed deposits, and I was told this was just because I was new in marketing, having spent abt 3 years in operations. I just look them finish, stayed for a few more months and left them. Honestly, now, I sleep better. As per your question whether this targe is monthly or yearly, it's what you're expected to have in your books(cCABAL) at every point in time. They take your achieved amount every morning(the amount you have in your cabal) and then do the math to get your average achieved for each month. Your promotion, even survival depends on that monthly average as against your target. @ op The targets are one thing, the thought of going to work, getting into another meeting and being addressed as a looser is another thing all together. Such meetings leaves one very vulnerable, with a very low self esteem. Pray, tell me, how can one mobilize funds or even be courageous enough to get into serious business talks with his/her clients in such a bad mood? That is what gives the clients the guts to ask for so so and so. Even some staff offer the thing sef before the client thinks of asking. And CBN is still using moral suation? TALKATIVES! CBN stop placing unnecessary targets on the Banks, set a standard and sanction the offenders. JUST STOP SPEAKING TOO MUCH ENGLISH! 3 Likes |

mayblossom:nigeria is the easiest place to make money . All you have to do is to find some people who are desperate for a salary job . Their target will pay their salaries and even pay you handsomely for having the idea. u did the right thing by leaving the job. If you can raise 50million for a bank then you should be able to raise 1million for ur own start up capital. |

I used to say this to marketers and am saying it again: Instead of suffering yourselves for these organisations all in the name of a petty-paying job you might be sacked from tomorrow why not get a product that is rare in your locality, set your price, and put in the same marketing effort for it, and yourselves? If your destiny na marketing, I tell you most solemnly you would be the one bankers rush to ask for you to open an account with them. Nawa o. Well, I guess everyone can never think the same no matter how bad the situation is. 1 Like |

@ Onatisi I modified my post. Just added a few things. The ranting felt good. I still have my friends and loved ones there. As for bank, I left them o my brother before I die in my sleep. SLAVE DRIVERS! |

melissa429: Girl, u too need this JOB (Just Over Broke). That makes you an easy target for randy clients. Hope you have not been used already. That said, I am moved to tell you to calm down, think for awhile, and see the big picture. How do they make their money to pay you? Can you do the same? Rediscover LIFE, my friend. |

Nonsense. It is this constant poke nosing of government into private business that's causing problems in the Nigerian economy. So CBN wants to regulate staff performance management? Did anyone force bankers to work? Anyone who is not comfortable with his job can resign. Dem nor force anybody. |
Re: Stop Placing Unrealistic Targets On Marketers, CBN Tells Banks by Nobody: 9:50pm On Nov 20, 2014 |
but what's the definition or standard of the target. I believe an amount should be set as standard instead of blowing hot air by stating the obvious. |
Re: Stop Placing Unrealistic Targets On Marketers, CBN Tells Banks by dandollar1: 9:52pm On Nov 20, 2014 |
onatisi:if your target is 100m, then at every point in time, that is what they expect your cabal to be reading. Not like it's the target for a whole year o. |

Sorry CBN, this is not enforceable. Business must grow...... banks must declare profit. High targets are ways to these goals. |
Re: Stop Placing Unrealistic Targets On Marketers, CBN Tells Banks by onatisi(m): 7:23am On Nov 21, 2014 |
This is really pathetic and sad. People should just start thinking deep and start looking for ways to better their lives instead of these useless jobs. I really don't know what more to say. But one thing I know and I am very sure of is nigeria is the best place to invest ,all you need is an idea . |

singlefade25:Are u a kid? How does commenting first on a page relate to getting good news? Shows u not even spiritual atall if u feel being d first to comment on a page will determine u receiving good news. So pathetic. Means u taking d God factor out of the way. Get a rethink 2 Likes |
