Ekiti House of Assembly Speaker Impeached Seven PDP members of the House reconvene, impeach the Speaker Adewale Omirin. Hon Joseph Dele Olugbemi (from Ikole LG), one of the APC decampees is now the Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly. Hon Abeni Olayinka (from Ado LG), another APC decampee was sworn in as new Deputy Speaker. Meanwhile, the former speaker, Omirin and co are addressing Press Conference at Victoria Island, Lagos. |

This country is a Wasteland! How can seven folks impeach a speaker? Whatever happened to 2/3 majority. Ekiti State has 16 LGAs, how then can 7 Hons. - which is not even up to 1/2 - mastermind such? Where were the the other members of the house? What were they doing in the process? These are questions for the gods of our land to answer. Politics is amazingly funny in Nigeria.
