You miss out many things that are relevant .The excessive intake can cause vitamins deficiency (like other ) carbohydrates it causes demyelination lead to shaking & other nerve deficieny symptoms. But garri eaten with meat groundnut beans coconut milk etc is good the cassava need fermentation for about 5 days before frying after grinding this reduces the level of cyanide.This our staple food is a saviour of mankind. GOVT is making it more expensive than before becos of it's addition to make bread |

men...i drank so much garri in sec school, every morning, i would clear a huge chunk from the recesses of my mouth in fgc ogbomoso. when i graduated sec school, i vowed to avoid it aggressively...now i only indulge in garri as if it is calamari...thank God am blessed to do so.
