Firefire:How do you say 'enough is enough' in a country where the people are polarized on ethnicity, religion and region and the next one waiting to join the queue now is the deep political divide in all negative mannerism. Let us go back to the drawing table and give each region what they want, simple. 2 Likes |

If Buhari hadn't truncated democracy that took us 30 years back,we wouldn't have wound up this way. For instance shagari would have completed his term of 8 years on october 1st 1987.His successor would have taken over to complete his tenure on oct 1st 1995.The next regime would have completed theirs on oct 1st 2003,etc. There probably would have been no obasanjo or yar'adua. We had incorruptible politicians like the late Bisi onabanjo(ogun state),Adekunle Ajasin(ondo),sam mbakwe(imo),Aper aku(Benue),Solomon lar(plateau),etc. Suddenly, like a man possessed by evil spirit Buhari sacked our democracy citing corruption as his reason. If buhari called those men corrupt politician, what will he call our present politicians who he has aligned with in his desperate bid to capture power? What name will he call our polliticians of today? |

All of Nigeria's problems will be solved as soon as the suffering and smiling masses stop waiting on God to tell them what to do and take action. God will not do it for you .. he has done enough already |

Firefire:My problem with the North is that when this boko haram issue started they supported them and made it clear that they are after Christians and Southerners. I was banned for life on Daily Trust newspaper for telling them how they would become the number one target for boko haram as soon as they are done targeting Christians and Southerners. As if that one is not enough a lot of notable Northerners made lots of statement encouraging the scourge which I believed paved way for boko haram's massive recruitment after all the Almajiri system that was and still being encouraged by the Northern oligarchs to enable them have an absolute control over their own people was a perfect recruitment field to recruit the uneducated, hungry, illiterate and fanatical moslem boys and men, what we are seeing now is a version of the folklore story called 'OTOTO' .And the story goes like this..... There was this man that raised a monster called 'ototo' to intimidate and cow his neighbors into submission ,with his ototo devouring people's chicken, lambs and kids the owner was happy and felt powerful to have raised such a feared monster ,until it got to a point that everyone in the community had to flee while some simply avoid ototo's bloody day by using common sense and it continued like this for a long time and on this very day the ototo was hungry but no one again to hunt down as everyone has either fled or had come to understand ototo's modus operandi. The ototo became desperate for blood and it got to a point that after searching the entire neighborhood for blood the ototo decided to take on his master and his family in his quest for blood - This is what is now happening in the North. Until they sit down and sincerely address the grievances of boko haram and her members which are majorly a bunch of disenfranchised people by their own Northern oligarch nothing will change and it is unfortunate that this ototo keep metamorphosing into a more deadly monster each day that passes as it comes into contact with genuinely and criminally motivated ototos across the world like AL Qaeda,ISIS and all the rest of them. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Firefire:Boko haram is part of APC campaign manifesto. They have promised to stop the menace of boko haram in 100 days if we vote them into power. Infact Lie mohammed said they will talk to the real boko haram once they are voted into power. In effect what he is saying is that they know the real boko haram, their contact address and so on but APC won't help stop the mindless killings until they are voted into power. These guys in APC are worse than king Darken Rahl of "the legend of the seeker. |

Firefire: Collective Action, you, me and us need to see the same picture and act in unison to destroy our common enemy.. when you see fire approaching your family and you have in your hands a water hose.. what do you do.? When you see a rapist attempting to UnCloth your child and you have a gun in your hands, what do you do. When you see our leaders since the past 50 years continue to mortgage the lives of our unborn children without even thinking twice .. what do you do.. Stand and Watch and complain 10 years later when grey hairs would have multiplied.. some children of these corrupt leaders who were in their mother's womb when you and I had started working will come and rule us in the same way their fathers did.. what will you do then, pick up your walking stick and complain or quietly and sadly enter your grave? Will you rather a revolution that burns slowly and painfully or one that burns fast and painfully . |

Re: NIGERIA: When Will The Shedding Of Innocent Blood Stopped by Nobody: 10:03pm On Nov 24, 2014 |
Firefire: All we are ready for is continuous suffering and death as a result of our un-readiness to do anything to ensure our survival.. well over 40,000 people (women and children) have lost their lives to BH alone, you have not even considered the ones who died of malaria before their 2 yr birthday.. who took all the free medicare from WHO and put it on sale on the market?! Evil is like a tide,it will slowly creep up on you, you will see it but not do anything about it until it drowns you.. Do you know how many lives have also been lost because senators and reps members take forever to enact laws that will save Nigerians.. I guess you and millions of Nigerians will always remain fragmented and broken.. easy for corrupt leadership to grind to dust .. imagine Nigerians clapping because OBJ and Atiku decided to save Nigeria.. ONLY IN NIGERIA will a knife be given to you and you will gladly slice your own throat as sacrifice to the same corrupt leadership |
Re: NIGERIA: When Will The Shedding Of Innocent Blood Stopped by Truckpusher(m): 10:07pm On Nov 24, 2014 |
Firefire:That's not gonna happen as long as boko haram is making some people and their party to appear weak and clueless. Of course recently we heard it very loud and clear when one loud mouthed Northerner said that if their party is voted into power that they would engage the real boko haram and persuade them to lay down their arms and all the rhetoric that has been coming out from the North, different APC party chieftain, party flag bearers as well as their minions from the South West which reminds me of that old adage that says that '' If the witch cried in the morning and the child died in the night ,who is to be blamed?'' |
