OandFEssence and Allied Chemicals, a leading provider of fragrances to the manufacturing industry seeks a qualified candidate for the post of Accounting Officer

The ideal candidate should be able to:

•Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

•Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.

•Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.

•Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.

•Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.

•Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.


Qualifications and Requirements:

•Minimum of HND in a related discipline

Proficiency in usage of Accounting packages, particularly Sage PeachTree 2010. Skill with Quickbooks will be an advantage.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

•Relevant professional accounting qualifications e.g. ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA would be an advantage.

•Candidates should have 1-3 years experience in an accounting position and must not be more than 40 years old.

The position is based on the ouskirts of Lagos, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Salary depending on qualification will range between 80,000 to 140,000 Naira pm.
