I laughed with the present emergence of Dakuku Peterside as governorship candidate in R/state because from political permutations Amaechi would never have supported Abe over peterside.Reasons being that:1.peterside is his direct offspring politically whereas Abe was into politics same time as amaechi.2.Abe and Amaechi came into the house of assembly the same time in 1999 which implies that he must have had persons who he was loyal to.he even came to assembly under APP b4 decamping to Pdp to enjoy chop chop as normal in naija politics.3.Amaechi made Peterside commissioner of works during his first term and facilitated his going to the national assembly .4.He was a nobody politically before amaechi took him under his feathers.5.In Nigerian Politics where trust is an issue, all politicians would favor there own direct boy over any other because you knw they all have skeletons in there closets they want hidden even after they have left office. This same scenario played out when Odili was leaving office when he imposed Amaechi on delegates and other aspirants because Amaechi was his direct boy. Before the K.leg saga and how the courts straightened it.The rest they say is History.
