Why did the western media ignore Jos this time around and focus on India where less than 150 people died? Are they getting tired of us or they just don't care?

Like Jakumo said - the world has become accustomed to stories like these - we need to clean up our act. There is little economic or social impact outside of Nigeria - that is another reason no one cares. Besides we don't seem to care too much ourselves.

Their main aim is to focus on stories that are important to the countries they serve. The fact here is that the attacks in India is of more importance to them than Nigerians killing themselves in their own country. I mean they do have greater business ties with India than Nigeria.

I think it's because there is no oil in Jos, I'm sure if this had happened in the delta region of Nigeria it would have been allover Fox News. And sadly the incident in India this weekend got most of the attention.
