A friend of mine is a youth corper (serving in a bank) and would like to apply for a U.K. visa. Just to go for christmas. Are corpers permitted to travel abroad during their service year? She has never travelled out of the country. Please if you know any information that would help, kindly say cos i honestly don't know where else to make enquiries.

You are not officially allowed, but who follows NYSC rules to the book.
Pls let her go enjoy herself jare. U need to clear with ur employer tho and if u want to do oversabi claim u r goin for something with the NYSC.

yea thanks but what documents do you think she can drop? she is serving in a bank. do u think she can get documents from the bank acting like she is a full staff?

not advisable,it could jeopardise chances of being giving visa.check 1st or 2nd thread on travel for the documents that may be requested by the ECO.
