Why are Nigerians often times harsh on themselves. Could it be the economic hardship or what? How does hating him affect you? Did he miss a sitter qualify us for the Nation's cup or world Cup? Why the sentimental hate comments?
Generally it's becoming part of some people ridiculing people's effort.
For someone who has been at service to the country even if he's no longer relevant we should at least appreciate the efforts he contributed.
Learn to appreciate people around you rather than rubbish people's efforts.

The aim of the post is to inform us of his retirement and get some views on his career... So expression of one's opinion about his career which is in accordance with facts is not 'hating'... Stop spewing bunkums.

Why pick a part of his whole career? Because he scored few goals of recent for his club so that makes him a attacking prodigy? Pfft... Think

You have been long overdue for retirement in the national team. We have had the best team during the last African Cup of Nation which we won. That is the best team needed to be maintained if Nigeria should be recognised again in the world of Football sport. Adultration of the team with these old players is one of the causes of the team's failure now.
