All Progressive Congress Governorship result for Akwa Ibom state:

1) Umana Okon Umana scored 2444;
2) Sen John Akpan udoedehe scored 6;
3) Hon Emmanuel Ekpenyong scored 2;
4)Captain Sam Ewang scored 1.

Umana was declared winner of the poll. He is now the APC flag bearer for the 2015 governorship election in the state. The primaries was conducted peacefully at Uyo township stadium with option “A” 4 after all aspirants undertook to remain in the party no matter the outcome of the poll.

However, feelers have it that one of the defeated aspirants may decamp to PDP in order to work with Gov Godswill Akpabio and Mr. Udom Emmanuel to frustrate Umana and APC from winning the general election in February 2015.
