Hello Folks,

I have, as well as several others, noticed that the Autosbay (as well as his sub-clones) may not be completely human (maybe some sort of artificial intelligence).
Most of his posts have
a. either been copied blatantly from the net
b. just a repeat of the same thing

His topics have almost beat Econelectrics as the most pointless guff ever.

The weird thing is, some of his posts seem completely human whilst others are very bot-like. Either way, I propose he gets a ban.

A recurring trend is for another of his acolytes to copy a post off yahoo and for him to reply with an answer off that yahoo post.

A couple of nairaland threads he has posted in, and their original posts on Yahoo.

For Bemshawn, He apparently has a Porsche, a BMW and several others also notice Autosbay is always quick to reply.

I can go on and on with these 3, but it is immediately apparent that these 3 entities are linked and need to be banished from these forums.

Time registered: October 16, 2014
Time spent online: 15 days & 23 hours

Compared to mine

Time registered: January 07, 2008
Time spent online: 13 days & 18 hours

I know some people love nairaland but 15 hours in approx 2 months is pushing it.

So people (Mods) are we banning them or what?

Autosbay copies and posts without referring to the source. It seems every comment made is actually an import/extract.
i think the user is some sort of one-eyed cyborg...or a character from Sci-fi...
as for the other subscriber, i think there is a human behind the screen (my guess)
what I'm 100% sure is that autosbay and econelectrics are subscribers, but what I'm not sure of is whether they have a human face...
aa for suggestions to place a ban on them,i don't think it is right.
atleast i enjoy the comparison thread he creates.
i just find myself metaphysically drawn in to comment on his threads i dunno how 'he' does that...

Having that amount of time online would mean joblessness or actually his job. I am not saying they might be alter egos for an admin like Seun, but I maybe wrong.

aren't you even shocked that since registered date of oct 16th the subscriber has made over 8600 comments and 94 topics?

While I do not think that those userids add anything of substance to this specific forum, I am not comfortable with soliciting the admins for bans against other members.

As far as stats are concerned, it means nothing. I have thus Time registered: June 28, 2014 - Time spent online: 23 days & 8 hours, this means diddly doo. I am signed onto NL to watch specific forums like Webmasters, Technology and Car Talk. It doesn't mean that I am jobless, it just means that one or two or three of my devices are logged on and not me personally.

Just a thought from out in the left field.

He mistakenly commented on this thread using his moniker, I even quoted him but as you can see my post and his have disappeared. But it was a nice suggestion(very autosbay like ).

Was using AutosHub before but at a point nairaland server crashed and people lost most of their username and password so I decided to create another one called AutosBay.

I believe Car Talk section is for providing solutions and car related information to individuals facing challenges, no one knows all in this world and no one is perfect, yes most of my post are copy and paste but the mistake I made was that I hardly cite the source of my write ups but if you observe recently I amended my posts and cited the sources which I don't see as an offense the only post I don't put source is the compare and contrast thread which is quite understandable because it could be easily coined maybe except I didn't cite the source of the pics this I would do subsequently.

Please let's help this forum grow I respect people in this forum a lot and I'm proud we have experts in Nigeria, but you see some people are also gifted in searching the net for information and that is the category I fall in and I try to use it to help others who actually find it difficult browsing the net for information, I thank everyone for their criticism towards me and it has made me better.

OK, nice one. What about bemshawn and obdshawn? U can't deny those 2 handles copy and paste questions from yahoo and autosbay gives solution from the same yahoo page the questions are lifted. It is obvious u own all those usernames.
