My typing speed is 20-23 WPM yet others tell me that I'm not fast in typing.
Anyone who knows how to type fast Should please tell me how Fast Should my typing speed hit.

Bros, how come you are this fast?

I started with mavis as by only game on pc and I fell in love with it over time. As for being fast, I've seen fast typist, trick is read as much as you can from your manuscript and just be patient with ur key strokes as long as you are on the home keys, you can't strike a wrong key.

M on 39WPM....stil working on it tho.it depends on what you are typing anyway....typing numbers slow down my typing speed n besides ts adviceable 2 memorise d words u r abt 2type n jxt pour t down on the keyboard. Wana start typing without looking at the keyboard

Whether it’s 2WPM or 224 WPM, whatever is meant as input still gets there. The only difference is the time taken.
The speed a person should type is the speed they feel comfortable at. I type at 46WPM normally and my burst rate is ~61WPM. I type at 46WPM when browsing or IMing but if I have to do a job to do or write a dissertation it slightly rises to about 56WPM and remains there till I finish. When I’m done it gradually goes back to 46 - 49WPM.
My younger sister types at 33WPM and doesn’t care to speed up because she sees no point. Reread my first paragraph to understand why.
