THE CAMPAIGN:
Like colony of ants,travelling on queue,
So was cars piled up,in lanes like stationed pews,
No niddle eye,for bikes to slant or swerve,
Chants and maunder rented the air in many vents,
Now,paramount it is to visit my town.
Galloping through tarred and dusty path,
Flew on air,but still touched down on my rural suburb,
Knelt before the clergy,
And bow to the monarch,
Sweeping with their brooms,
Shielding with the umbrella,
Grid-lock on the street,
As traffic is at a pause,
Pregnant women,
Men with ill omen,
Hungry abdomen,
All stuck in the snarl-up,
For men of potty tummy,
Oratory,pompous an' clumsy,
Thoughtfully cunning,
With lies so funny,
Are here to feed us,
No not with food,
But brooms,
Waving to the sky,taunting us with our filths and dirts,
With umbrella,
No not to shield,but to remind us of the impending rain.

...I've been ransacking my mind for the past 30+mins,seeking for an amiable title for such imagery-packed-piece,but haven't got none yet...I can see why its still untitled. Ms,u killed it...thumbs up;the 2nd stanza got me thinking,I've read it more than 5time,and it still sound fresh.

Now, who are my teachers? Or, what is expected of the pupil?

Teachers ?

Looking so dull and shabby
like a picture that needs repainting,
I sat still with a straight face
looking at the wall with full gaze
like answers are going to pop out.
Lazily i introduced a note and pen
like i'm going to write one to ten,
minutes ticked away still nothing came forth,
the next didn't pass before i gave up
as it is time to take a rest.

UNPROTECTED JUNGLE

Where is the sun?
Those greedy trees
that can not shade all her animals
will not over power.
Bashful jungle craving control.

Those days are on their
way.
Her dwelling animals kidnapped by BH,
The Blood Hunter.

Lion, Tiger, Elephant, Wolf, fox and Python-
The leaders.

On rules positioned officials live,
Market convenience, earn bad revenue.
System make fool,
position is always abused.

If I had all that power,
No longer would the slithering Python and Lion
Invade the private domain
Devouring harmless
jungle dwellers.

The jungle needs clearing, its canopy made lush, to shelter from
heavy rain.
The storm clouds of dishonesty and insecurity collide.

Brooms promise to clear.
Umbrellas promise to cover.
The clearing is not with the brooms,
Nor the covering with the umbrellas.
They forsake the promise.

Propriety rules where are thee?
To be most concerned with having
the lead?

Hope of our future is lost-
since promising seeds
gain knowledge from a smoldering jungle.

Night Fell by Florence Ripley Mastin

Night fell one year ago, like this.
He had been writing steadily.
Among these dusky walls of books,
How bright he looked, intense as flame!

Suddenly he paused,
The firelight in his hair,
And said, “The time has come to go.”
I took his hand;

We watched the logs burn out;
The apple boughs fingered the window;
Down the cool, spring night
A slim, white moon leaned to the hill.

To-night the trees are budded white,
And the same pale moon slips through the dusk.
O little buds, tap-tapping on the pane,
O white moon,

I wonder if he sleeps in woods
Where there are leaves?
Or if he lies in some black trench,
His hands, his kind hands, kindling flame that kills?

Or if, or if …
He is here now, to bid me last good-night?[/b]
