I have a friend who's got a rather funny problem - hearing loss. He is not totally deaf but have difficulty understanding conversation at tines especially on phones.
He's been expelled from school, nether could he get a Job due to the problem.
I have advise him to see an ENT specialist unfortunately my friend can't even raise half of the money for hearing aids.
Please matured advise will be highly appreciated.

Has he seen the ENT specialist? He can go to a teaching hospital to see one.It won't cost him much to do that.
Why was he expelled? If he can get a medical report to present to the school,I believe something can be done to re-instate him.
If he can't afford an hearing aid,he should look for ways to raise funds. He should also seek out some NGOs that may help.

Thank you thorpido, He'd seen an ENT specialist where the Hearing aid was recommended. unfortunately he can't even think of a way to realise the fund.
He was not really expelled in the sense of the word, but was advised to go seek help and stop causing unnecessary tension . Beside the thought of going to lecture often give him a nightmare - he hardly will understand a word of the lecture!
Trust some lecturers to always take offence even after explaining his predicament. Some usually take it as a slight, I feel like laughing out loud at some of those incidences, but no! I understand the young man plight.
