Court Martial: 59 Soldiers To Know Fate Tonight by Trailblazer1(m): 9:45pm On Dec 17, 2014
There were indications Wednesday night,  that the General Court Martial sitting at the Army Headquarters Garrison trying 59 soldiers for conspiracy to mutiny will deliver judgment but stern looking soldiers posted at the entry gate into the Mogadishu Barracks, turned journalist away, saying they had instructions not to allow the media into the barracks.
It will be recalled that the 59 soldiers who are serving in the epicentre of the Boko Haram insurgency in Borno state, allegedly refused lawful orders by their commander to proceed on a mission to clear out terrorists and secure a town for subsequent military deployments.

File: Court martial
All the soldiers had pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against them at the commencement of the trial last October.
The sentences from similar trials in the past carried death sentence, life imprisonment or demotion of rank and jail sentences with hard labour.
As at the time of filing this report, 8pm, the General Court Martial was yet to commence proceedings for the judgment to be delivered.

Despite the popular plea for mercy, it is expedient the Army makes a bold statement against mutiny in its ranks.
They will serve as deterrent to others.

Intending saboteurs of our army be warned.

Nigeria army is one of the worst organization,
Is only in Nigerian army you will see goat commanding lions.
I don't blame those soldiers, never!!! The soldiers refused orders because they knew boko are rams is political, after the military generals will collect money the innocent soldiers will be sent to face death
The most annoying part of it, a soldier that died in active service the family never get paid and the family will even be humiliated, thrown out of the barracks.
NIGERIAN ARMY IS SO CORRUPT, THEY NEED REHABILITATION. Go to the barracks and see the living conditions of the soldiers and their families, so pathetic
Now they are saying court martial
Nonsense?

please let us vote this nonsense pin dig pigs so that we can feel the breath of fresh air and safe nation

Down within me, my heart is pleading for their forgiveness but my mind is asking it: what happens to future offenders? And how do we stop mutiny if all offenders are forgiven? undecided undecided undecided
