Only if the BLACK RACE could learn from history to appreciate today and forge ahead to build a better future for themselves.

I panned through some pix that show horror Ebola has inflicted on people from Sierra Leone, Liberia & Guinea this morning, I was gripped with fear of my life seeing body of people lying on the street like bird flu-struck chickens, all because of lack of proper planning, poor health care system and institution occasioned by bad leadership.

Africa needs to start investing on intellectualism no matter how little it is, what we are enjoying today in development is product of relentless efforts of people in the past and present who were able to see beyond their environment.

why did you tag them as pagans.. ??

I am not the author of this report. look at the footer of all the pictures and you find the use of the word PAGAN in quote. i think it may mean something other than what you think it is.

It was same story in the south east, go back a few decade, same story in the southwest. Stop feeling important, we are all black and all we need to do now
is to try to catch up with the rest of the world and stop antagonising one another.

Mahmud, what is a real northerner? While Muslims are the majority, we have people of several ethnolinguistic groups in the North. Don't forget that the the North is a far more diverse region than the South. There are Pagans in the North, we refer to them as Haabe in Fulfulde.

Most of the people pictured here are not Hausa. Keep in mind that the North consists of and comprises of the majority of the 250 or so ethnic groups in Nigeria.

Not same story at all, we in the west put on cloths while northers hardly put on, we still have people like this in the land of ''KOMA'' in Adamawa state, go to jos and you will see them in their hill, dont be deceived, live near Hausa man and you will give God the glory for not being part of them.

That's not true at all, I'm from Adamawa state. It really depends on the group of people. Fulani people have always worn clothing for centuries, same with many Hausa. Whether it is the Fulani turban that is worn widely by Mbororo'en groups, or the Fulani Limse these clothes are centuries if not Millenia old.

What a very useless thread.

The mentally challenged OP and the humanoid supermoderator that placed it on front page must share a brain.

Laughing at Africans in their native state shows how far we either to go or how far behind we've fallen. Some of you really are pathetic. The White racist took many pictures of your ancestors too. Some cultures were fully clothed, some partially clothed. Wait till they bring yours out.

'Laugh out loud' fools.

Sigh! The north has been. Underdeveloped In every sphere especially mentally. Now to add insult to the injury .. The education they were now Given was religious education as a mode to civilize them. Then you wonder why we are here today, experiencing problems. Same goes to the southern parts. Because even as they were more influenced by proper western Education. Its still had its problems , along with the religion it came with.. They all had one teaching guideline.. What to think and not how to think.. This has affected the black man seriously. Only the few liberate themselves.. Some won't even understand what I am talking about because they fall into the same category
What kind of world would have been if the past or prensent you envisage was? What have we missed and why is western education an alarameter to you for our common fate? Whats different in Western & Xtian enligthenment? What significant native solution elevated your chosen ones from common shackles?
