On Prof. Yemi Osinbajo's emergence, prominent Nigerians & APC stalwarts have these to say: Governor Fashola Babatunde; "Prof. Osinbajo has always been my mentor, an administrator, a leader by example, an achiever, a respected world class citizen, an impeccable law abiding university teacher & a first class internationally recognised lawyer. As a matter of fact, he truly deserves it." Governor Rotimi Amaechi Chibuke; "I didn't join APC because of becoming the Vice President. I joined the party so as to effect change. I'm 49-years of age & I'd never thought of becoming the VP at the age of 49. If anybody tells me that I'd become the VP at that age, I won't believe it. Osinbajo's emergence is the best to give to Nigerians at this challenging times." Senator Bukola Saraki; "Nobody would ever thought of Osinbajo's emergence if our party wasn't based on making positive changes & placing the interests of the masses first. Secondly is that, if our party wasn't democratic & serve as a model to other parties, any of these respected politicians would have been picked as VP; (such as) Governors Fashola, Oshiomole, Amaechi or Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu but we didn't do that." |
