Time To Revise The Koran by Nobody: 3:08pm On Dec 19, 2014
A lot has been left unsaid and undone in the wake of extreme Islamic terrorism plaguing the world in this century. Who would believe that at this age, a religion or movement would exist with the sole aim of dragging the world back to the Stone Age.

Messages against western education are messages against humanity. Anyone with such pronouncement should be hunted down and put away as soon as possible. Our failure to detect this cancer has cost us uncountable lives and freedom and we do not see a quick end or cure to this unfortunate disease.

To maneuver and rid ourselves of this predicament, we must go back to history; we must look more into religion. Without much talking, we have countless religions that co-exist peacefully. One religion that has caused immeasurable damage to world peace is Islam. We must therefore reawaken our senses and be sane for a moment while we try to fix this problem.

The spread of Islam has been synonymous with Terrorism. These terrorists find motivation in the Koran. Having read the Koran and heard first hand sermons from Islamic clerics, it is clear and obvious that the Koran is the centre piece of terrorism. Like all books, the Koran was written, compiled and published. In this age, while we have regulatory bodies guiding what type of book is published and sold, I wonder why a stand has not been taken against the Koran in civilized countries. The Koran is filled with statements of hatred and incitement against neighbors and humanity. These same verses are recited by terrorists such as ISIS, Boko Haram, Hamas and co. in perpetrating evil around the world. It is full of passages and statements against freedom. It is full of false information. We must take a stand against it whatever the cost may be for the sake of our future un-brainwashed generations.

Muslim leaders must therefore re-edit the contents of the Koran if truly their slogan “Islam is a religion of Peace” is to be believed. Such verses that cause incitement must be removed from the Koran. It is time for Muslims leadership to revise the Koran or face banning of the book from civilized societies. Failure to tow this path means formal declaration of war on freedom and rights of world citizens. It is time to go beyond words to acting against forces of evil. If peace loving Muslims find it hard fighting their brothers gone astray, there pen should do the needful. After all, the pen is mightier than the sword. Muslim leaders have failed to separate and educate Muslim faithful on how to follow the said peaceful teachings of the Koran; they should not hesitate to purge all verses taken out of context by terrorist. That is the least they can do.
Furthermore, Re-editing the Koran will be a big challenge that will attract widespread condemnation; such condemnations must not stand in the way of doing the right thing. The Koran should be banned from Non-Muslim countries with immediate effect because it has become a constitution of terrorists. This ban should be enforced till all inciting verses are purged from the book.

Do we have anything more to fear with such action? Terrorists make no secret of their desire to rule the world with their barbaric laws. They proclaim openly their desire to wipe out a whole country from the face of the map. They kill without restraint and mercy. What else do we need to hear? Shall we wait till a country is wiped out when they lay their hands on nuclear weapons and respond in kind? Is the genocide perpetrated by ISIS not worth the banning? Is the intolerance and extreme laws of Saudi Arabia, turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan against other religions, against freedom of worship and freedom of women not worth it? How long will our flaccid state last.

It is time to urge Muslim leadership to take a stand and revise the Koran while the world battles Islamic Terrorism. It is the least they can do.

what exactly do u think religion is? and what is your concept of God, He knows the beginning and end of all things. Quran revised? I dont even know what to say.
In quran 5:3 suratul maidah; "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
Re: Time To Revise The Koran by Nobody: 4:24pm On Dec 19, 2014
Ha! In your dreams. Wouldn't the devil love to promote the idea, the way he had the Bible extensively editted, revised and filled with the pagan beliefs of his followers?
Anyway, your proposal is dumb. God has already promised to preserve it. And He is doing so; do you know how many millions of people have memorised it entirely? Apart from those who have memorised at least substantial portions of it.

BTW, there is nothing like muslim leaders. Each muslim is responsible for his own burden.

Islam Spread to a Large part of the world when Umar(raa) was Caliph, What & How did he acheive ? listen to the video and tell me who is responsible for your ignorant thoughts

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3JRs9_jvB8

So who should Change

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlLZKUuc2jk

So let the fanatics in both Religions look at these videos and see who should change. Islam is slandered for levy of Jizzya tax on non muslims while Muslims pay zakat tax but the Non muslims in Islamic state do not pay zakat tax but Jizzya tax only. read below a copy & past what is Jizzya

The seriousness with which the Muslims took their covenants with the non-Muslims is well illustrated by the following incident.
During the reign of the second caliph, ‘Umar bin al-Khattaab may Allaah be pleased with him the Roman emperor, Heraclius, raised a
huge army to repel the Muslim forces. It was, thus, incumbent upon the Muslims to concentrate their efforts on the battle. When the
commander of the Muslims, Abu ‘Ubaydah may Allaah be pleased with him heard this news, he wrote to his officials in all conquered
cities in Syria and ordered them to return the Jizyah which had been levied in those cities. He also addressed the public saying;
“We are returning your money because we know that the enemy has gathered troops. By the terms stipulated in the covenant, We have
obliged us to protect you. However, since we are now unable to fulfil these conditions, we have returned to you what you paid to us. We shall abide by the terms agreed upon in the covenant, if Allaah helps us to rout the enemy”. Thus, a huge amount was taken from the state treasury and returned to the Christians, making them very happy. They prayed for and blessed the Muslim commanders. They exclaimed: “May Allaah help you to overcome your enemies and return you to us safely. If the enemy were in your place, they would never have returned anything to us, rather they would have taken all our remaining property!"

We see that Muslims not only allowed Christians to remain Christians but that the Christians themselves preferred Muslim rule over that of Heraclius, who was himself a Christian.

So the Noble Quran verses are taken out of context. quote which verse I will let you know from Our records not my own ideas. Quran 2:256
says '' There is no compulsion in Religion.....'' grin

See the Bible

Anyone who dreams or prophesizes anything that is against God, or anyone who tries to turn you from God, is to be put to death. (Deuteronomy 13:5)

If anyone, even your own family suggests worshipping another God, kill them. (Deuteronomy 13:6-10)

If you find out a city worships a different god, destroy the city and kill all of it's inhabitants... even the animals. (Deuteronomy 13:12-15) shocked

Kill anyone with a different religion. (Deuteronomy 17:2-7)."

So What's YOUR comments on this killing buisness ? Jizzya is a kind idea. Quran is the Undistorted Word of God That None can change unlike Bible OT & NT with 40 authors
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSGd8uzFxxY &

Porn materials genesis 19:30, Incest of lots daughters
geensis 35:22 reuben sex with mother
geneis 21 : 1 sara
ezekiel ch 23 v, 3,8.20,21
2 samuel 13 :6 rape your own sister

. So these junky stories will make your children mind a junk & pervert, so like the lady in UK told . So you cant apply the same standard to Quran which appreciates all Prophets as righteous and does not make them Criminals & gives religious Freedom 2:256 & it cant be altered.

@talibilm,

I do not agree with your explanation of Jizya. After reading mainstream Islamic literature, i have realized 'Jizya' in Shari'ah context is a levy that Christians and Jews must pay in return for practising their faith in the caliphate. Remember that under Shari'ah, Zoroastrians, Jews and Christians have 3 options; accept Islam, pay a periodic levy or face death. While atheists, agnostics, pagans may either accept Islam or die.

It is clear from the quran that the jizya is a humiliation tax. So any attempt to impose such a tax should be resisted. However, given that I am atheist, I would not even be allowed to live in a sharia state. I would be forced to convert.

Show us how you arrived at that conclusion please. It seems to be clear only to people with minds that are already prejudiced.

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." Humiliation is not humility (from which 'humbled' derives). English language 101.

Sorry, I did not read and i do not want to read because I've done profound study on it for a very long time, The teenagers without income are
excluded, Poor people are excluded and incidents like a Jew poor man was helped by the state in Umar's (raa) caliphate is a TESTIMONY for that and still more exclusions are there when you go into deep studies in Jizzya. Non Muslim population is on the rise in UAE, Qatar as per wiki. Non Muslims were MORE HAPPY in an Islamic State under RIGHTLY GUIDED by the Noble Quran, am not referring to MONEY cool minded Muslim rulers who made battles for plundering Money, they are nothing but day light LARGE SCALE ROBBERS under Muslim Names & banners who also fought against their own Muslim Brothers, kith & kin as well, who are NORMALLY PORTRAYED AS MUSLIM RULERS AS CITATION BY ISLAMAPHOBES. .

@talibilm

Your own most revered mufassir; Ibn Kathir explain the essence of paying Jizya is to humiliate or disgrace or punish Jews/Christians for not embracing Islam and you come telling us that Jizya is merely 'state tax'?

Qur'an 9:29 exegesis by Ibn Kathir:

Paying Jizyah is a Sign of Kufr and Disgrace

Allah said, (until they pay the Jizyah), if they do not choose to embrace Islam, (with willing submission), in defeat and subservience, (and feel themselves subdued.), disgraced, humiliated and belittled. Therefore, Muslims are not allowed to honor the people of Dhimmah or elevate them above Muslims, for they are miserable, disgraced and humiliated. Muslim recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said, « (Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley.) This is why the Leader of the faithful `Umar bin Al- Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, demanded his well-known conditions be met by the Christians, these conditions that ensured their continued humiliation, degradation and disgrace.

Yes, we know that non-Muslims did prefer the Caliphate to Christendom in the middle ages. The Jews, the persecuted Christian sects sought asylum in the Shari'ah Caliphate. But get your fact right, it wasn't because the Caliphate was so tolerant and peaceful. It was because Christendom was more intolerant, militant and antisemite than the Caliphate.

Ever since Christendom separated the Church from the State, ever since the renaissance or Protestant reformation, majority have preferred the West(Christendom). That is why most Jews, Christians, atheists, agnostics and even heterodox Muslims today prefer the West to the Middle-East, whereas some centuries ago, the reverse was the case.
