By Inside Akwa Ibom Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Akpabio, has re-assured person’s with diability in the state of continuous assistance and support by the state government to enable them achieve their purpose on earth. The governor stated this today at Moboho Mkparawa Ibibio Hall, Uyo, during the celebration of the 2014 edition of “International Day of Person’s with disabilities, (PWDS) which had as it’s theme: Sustainable development: The promise of Technology. Represented by the commissioner for information and communications, Mr. Aniekan Umanah, Chief Akpabio who listed the various programmes of the present administration targeted at enhancing the well-being of physically challenged person’s in the society, challenged them not to see their present condition as a incapable of being turned into something productive, and reminded that there is ability in disability. http://insideakwaibom.com/gov-akpabio-brightens-hope-persons-disability/
