is there any mention of Angels in the old testament?..i think the idea is a christian construct. the old testament speaks of the sons of God, i believe these are the sons of god not angels...he is said to have two sons enki and enlil...and these two never agreed on anything..one was too judgmental and wicked, the other wanted to give humans a chance..
the old Sumerian text do make sense, a lot of sense..that is where the later Jewish men got their idea from...

The Almighty God created everything in pairs. The man and the woman are fully complementary, one cannot do without the other; and this is the image of God. The Image of God is male and female; and in this image He created man.

A Man or Woman can never be at peace until when united with the complementary pair designed from creation.

Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

That's my point. There is no gender differences in heaven. But all are treated as males, but this does not mean they have male features as we do here.
