15 Foods That Give You A Bad Odour (tested 'n Trusted) by Nobody: 7:50pm On Dec 27, 2014
Have you ever noticed how some people don’t smell
bad regardless of whether they’re sweating? It’s
because they eat clean foods and steer clear of those
that cause odours. With today’s post, we share
around the top foods that make us stink .

Body odour is an extremely sensitive issue for most of
us. We spend thousands of naira on perfumes and
deodorants making sure that we can smell better and
stop sweating. But we fail to comprehend that we’re
on the inappropriate track by “preventing sweating”
and that is an important function of one's body.

Sweating is absolutely necessary so as to cool your
body and expel toxins out of your system, and when
you employ deodorants to block your microscopic
holes, you’re inviting ill-health and ailment. Instead of
focusing on artificial methods to reduce body odor,
look to the foods you consume to smell good and be
fresh as a daisy all day long.
To help you do that, here’s a list of foods to avoid and
why they make people smell bad.

Top 15 foods which make you smell bad

Red meat: It is difficult to digest and quite often lies
stagnant in your digestive system. When this
undigested food putrefies, this releases toxins and
foul-smelling fumes. This in turn is ejected as
flatulence and sweat in which reeks.

Processed and junk meal: Any food that is too
rich and difficult for your body to digest, any food
that's processed and refined which contains a lot of
sugar, white flour, hydrogenated oils as well as other
processing agents, and food that's labeled as “junk”
rot as part of your intestines and produces a foul
odor as part of your breath and through your sweat.

Foods with pungent (strong-smelling)
components (used in large amounts) :
Garlic as
well as other spices not only cause awful breath,
they’re also responsible for body odour given that
they produce sulfurous gases when broken down,
which in turn are absorbed into your blood stream
and released via your lungs and pores.

Foods which have been too fibrous: If you eat
too much of foods that contain soluble dietary fiber
(fruits, vegetables, whole grains, pinto beans and
legumes), gases like hydrogen, carbon dioxide and
methane are released once they get digested in your
significant intestine. When these exit your body by
means of flatulence, you tend to wish you had been
alone.

A diet that is reduced fiber: The opposite is also
true – fiber is useful for digestion and when your
eating habits is poor in fiber, the rest of the food in
your intestine will cause the formation of gases
including methane, leading to flatulence as well as
belching.

Foods eaten in some sort of hurry: Any food
eaten too fast causes you to swallow too much air (a
mix of oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen). When
this really is expelled from your body in the burp,
you can bet people don’t smell like roses.

A diet that is low in sugars: You’ve always
believed that carbs include the villains of your
weightloss system, but when it comes to be able to
body odor, these energy-laden foods save the
afternoon. When you limit your carb intake, you
automatically take within more proteins; this starts
using your body’s fat stores intended for energy, and
this releases ketones directly into your bloodstream,
which in turn makes your breath smell nasty.

Dairy products: While they’re best for health in
moderation, they often cause bad breath because
they’re high in proteins that the bacteria as part of
your stomach break down to generate volatile sulfur
compounds like hydrogen sulfide as well as methyl
mercaptan which smell nasty.

Drinking liquids through a straw: This applies to
sodas and colas as well as other drinks that are
aerated too – when you gulp decrease any drink
through or straw or drink any liquid that has gas in it,
you tend to burp because of the buildup of gases in
ones stomach. And depending on what else is at your
stomach, your breath as well as surroundings reek
accordingly.

Chewing chewing gum: You may chew gum for
many different reasons – to get rid of a nicotine
habit, to produce your breath smell better (how
ironic), or simply to while away the moment. But
when you choose the particular sugar-free kind, your
body will not completely digest the low calorie
sweeteners including sorbitol, and when bacteria
acts upon it as part of your intestine, it causes a
buildup of gas which leads to burping and flatulence.

Beans and legumes: Many kinds of beans cause
gas given that they contain a sugar called
oligosaccharide, and thus causes flatulence and
burping which are you smell bad.

Foods abundant in choline: Foods like egg and
liver are abundant in choline which is not effortlessly
digestible; this causes gases to accumulate and
generates a foul physique odor.

Fried and baked foods: They contain fats and oils
that become rancid using the passage of time, and
thus leads to poor digestion as well as excessive
belching and flatulence.

Espresso: Coffee causes bad breath for the reason
that acidity in this beverage is significantly higher
than that of individual saliva.

Alcohol: You know you reek the particular morning
after a night out out partying, simply because you’ve
had a lot of to drink. Alcohol makes your sweat and
your breath smell really bad, so avoid it in order to
stay clean and fresh.

What I see up there are foods that cause flatulence not really bad odour.
I happen to have lactose intolerance and I pass flatus whenever I take foods that contain lactose mostly dairy products and also when I chew orbit gum because of its sorbitol content.

But dear op,I don't have any odour!

Foods don't cause body odour. You get body odour if you don't wash your body and clothes, regularly and properly.

Certain foods can cause your breath to stink and the chief culprit imho is garlic. But that isn't the same as body odour, and neither is passing wind (flatulence).
