This period of election is very vital. We common Nigerians need to take back our country and tell ourselves the truth. Before we continue looking up things from a very ridiculous point of view we need to critically analyse things well. Reading through most comments in Nairaland and other online and paper comments one can still see people taking sectional, tribal and group views on issues. This is very worrisome. This same sectionalism has helped a very few Nigerians to be in a position of milking the resources of the country dry on the detriment of the majority of Nigerians moving around very unhappy with things.
The same people that will support a man or woman seeking for elective post just because he or she is from their tribe, section, group etc are the same people that will say politicians are stealing everything. for sure they are stealing because we Nigerian encourage them by leaving the power to determine everything in their hands.
Now we have a party by the name PDP that has been in power close over 14 years and nothing to show for it apart from a very great mismanagement and embezzlement of the nations resources. If for ones majority of Nigerians will vote these guys out and give power to another group, there will be the creation of another party and an alternative on the group. If the alternative fails to do well, the people will as well vote them out.
US is working today because the Americans vote parties into political positions based on performance. Presently the Democrats are in power but because of economy, American are not too happy. The legislative elections saw the Republicans winning a very significant seats. If this is achieved for ones in Nigeria, this people that see Nigeria as their estates, businesses, company will fear and respect the people. The power belong to ordinary Nigerians but they give it away to few corrupt people called politicians.
Let us reclaim our power and our country.
