Nigeria’s Economy Is Resilient To Oil Price – Elumelu by teeebugs: 2:35pm On Dec 28, 2014
The chairman of Heirs Holdings Limited, Transcorp Plc and founder of The Elumelu Foundation, Tony Elumelu said the Nigerian economy is more resilient to the falling oil prices and is better than the image that is being projected.

Elumelu who spoke on Quest Means Business on CNN, expressed optimism on the economic situation in Nigeria. When asked how worried he is about economic situation in Nigeria, amid dwindling oil prices, Elumelu said that the economic situation in Nigeria is far better than the impression being created.

According to him, the “present administration and the one before it, has significantly and structurally altered the economic landscape of the country,” making the economy more resilient to the vagaries of fallen oil prices as being experienced currently.
