Late Arrival Of Security Operatives In Nigeria: A Lasting Occurence by BossAyuk: 9:15pm On Dec 28, 2014
The system of late arrival has become a reoccurring decimal in the life of our Nation and her people. A street very close to the police station in one state in Nigeria was yesterday invaded by a 49-armed robbery gang with very powerful riffles and their operation lasted for almost 2 hours but to be frank, those idiots got away with everything there could lay their hands on.

Now two hours after there have left, the patrol team arrived and started making arrest and forcing the tenants to making statements and even detaining some and asking for bail after 3days.

Now we don't know if we are again in a country that has leaders who are thinking for the security of life's and properties. We have had that institution for as old as independence, but up till date No single IG has come up with a distinctive programme of intelligence and security operation in this country and yet people are busy working on stealing plans and programmes.

We as Nigerians needs an institution that is responsive and sensitive and not an institution that is collaborative in style and action because it has become a culture for late arrival of everything in Nigeria except that which will benefit some persons.

Today we are in a country that nobody cares and only the rich care for themselves and the common Nigerians are faced with the battle of criminal infiltration into our habitats. We have and will not blame it all on traditional upbringing of children and parental carelessness of abandoning concept, but we should ask those who call themselves leaders; for are we still having those set of leaders who thinks for the people? or those who knows the reason why there are in position? because it beats my imagination why people who have failed in reasoning in the past are still the same people being recycled for an acclaimed new phase of existence.

Now the business today is just to secure the future of the family and structure a sustained wealth programme for a family, and the rest is history ,but when will all this lies end? and when will we start thinking positively towards the Nations growth coupled with individual protection.
Today our security apparatus is used against Nigerians, where you see a gang of 39 men braking the walls of a Compound and taking all the tenants hostage for even two hours and yet we will be dancing that we have people we call leaders? to me i don't think so,because even as simple as a communication link between an event and an action we cant perfect such so what is the noise about having a trust in the men of that sector.

We have always experienced late or no arrival of even electoral materials just from within a state and yet the operators of the system sees nothing wrong with such an anomalies, even a style of promoting a Commissioner of Police is no more on effective service delivery but on higher return on investment.

We must think for the type of persons we rig into power even as a local government chairman, a state house member, a member of the National Assembly, Governors or even as Presidents because what we select or fused on the people is a clear resultant of what the economy is showing.

Today we have seen and experienced the concentration of legal battles between all those that wants to serve their father land, but if you look critically you will find out that 80% of them have personal income agenda and 20% of a relentless giving heart to the people, and that is why the game is no more interesting for those who wants to create distinctions and i pray that as we enter 2015 Nigerians will be thinking productively on the type of leadership that there deserve and not the type that deserves us.
