Non-payment Of Osun State Workers’ Salaries Is A Continuation Of Apc/aregbesola' by HzRF(m): 11:14pm On Dec 28, 2014
For the umpteenth time, the OLUOMO Campaign Organization (OCO) wishes to bring to public notice, the unusual but strange financial engineering of Osun State's resources by the outgoing governor, Rauf Aregbesola.

The senatorial candidate of PDP in Osun Central, OLUOMO Oluwole Oludaisi Aina have had cause severally to advise the government on the rudderless and retrogressive manner it was handling the state's finances.

As at the moment, huge numbers of Osun State workers are yet to receive September Salaries while that of October, November and December looks a tall order and September salaries may likely come in January or February.

Teachers failed to conduct examinations. Meant for the 1st term for our leaders of tomorrow due to the inability of Gov Rauf to pay their salaries

We are much alarmed that while contractors have left virtually all the project sites across the state due to the inability of government to meets its obligations to them, our workers are now suffering the same fate.

For a government that receives well over ‪#‎9billion‬ monthly federal allocations and also boasts of raking in about ‪#‎5billion‬ monthly IGR, not to be able to pay the salaries of workers which amounts to about N1.6billion monthly, is to us the height of irresponsibility, recklessness and wickedness by the APC government under Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

This action is a big disrespect to the dignity of labour and punishment to the hardworking workers of our dear state.

This can only further impoverish our people and make the yuletide period bleak; how do we even rationalise what Aregbesola has been doing with ‪#‎14billion‬ it has to spend every month?

We are not surprised because the only visible site in the whole state where workers, contractors and huge equipments are busy working day and night without paucity of funds.

Finally, we urge the failed, corrupt, unpopular and outgoing government to immediately dip it's hands in its secret vault and pay our workers.

Enough of this mindless treatment being meted out to our people. We want to however assure the great people of Osun State that under the incoming PDP government, life will become more abundant for them.

Workers will have their pride of place and the glory of Osun shall return.

APC are hypocrite. what stops our governors from developing their state natural resourse to generate fund instead of waiting for oil money and overtaxing us with what we don't have. they know how to shift blame, blaming fg for every of their failure. what other things are they doing to generate internal revenue apart from taxation. I'm stand to be corrected if I'm wrong o.
