As a result of expansion, our client, an Engineering firm in Ikeja, requires the services of well qualified Accountant with proven track records. Successful Candidates must be ready to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

JOB DETAILS

ACCOUNTANT: REF NO: HR/AF-0003; LOCATION: Lagos.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

She will:

*Oversee financial accounting functions, compliance reporting, annual budget preparation, systems development, regulatory and governmental reports with respect to accurate statement of the Company's financial position as may be required.

*Prepare management reports, manage book keeping and payroll functions, financial income and expenditure, including running costs, staff expenses, administrative costs, VAT, levies, taxation and ensure monthly statutory remittances such as pensions, VAT, Payee are made.

*Maintain all official accounting books and records in conformance with accepted accounting principles, provides documents for audits.

*Liaise with auditors and provide relevant documents during audit periods.

*Manage Stock activities.

*Raising of cheques/vouchers invoices, requisitions and other documents for vendors.

*Proactively give professional advice towards improving company finance and achieving overall goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Accounts Manager: B.Sc/HND Accounting. Experience Required: 2 cognate years of working experience in the Engineering Sector.
