Back to your Query: I'll advise you wear a nice Long sleeve Shirt (Hawes and Curtis) and a pair of Chinos trouser, tuck it in and Wear clean polished shoes. Have a nice haircut and don't wear strong perfume. Just be clean confident.
Brush your mouth well, and have a gum in your pocket just in case your breath starts to feel funny.

Wear a solid packet shirt ( stripe or plaid ). Stock chinos ( dark brown or gray ) . Rugged shoe - not too high. A portable tool bag with papers of blueprints and jotta's in them.

As for me, do not wear suit. Just wear nice trousers with long sleeve shirt and Tie, it makes you look intelligent and smart. Most importantly, you need to know the nature of the job, site based or office based, this will also help you to decide on the mode of dressing. Good luck.
